The 283-seat widebody aircraft is operating on the approximately 80-nautical-mile (148-kilometre) route on August 12 and 13. The short regional sector is normally served by smaller Airbus A320-family aircraft.

Qatar Airways is scheduled to operate one A350 round trip between Doha and Bahrain on each of the two days.
