Revolutionary ‘Airport Budget Hotel’ Opens Near Tribhuvan International Airport

The ‘Airport Budget Hotel’ has officially begun operations near Tribhuvan International Airport, providing travelers with convenient and affordable accommodations.

According to Basudev Neupane, one of the hotel’s key investors, the hotel started welcoming guests in December 2023 (Poush 2080). Situated just a one-minute walk from the airport, this facility is designed to cater to both domestic and international tourists.

The hotel features 23 well-equipped super deluxe rooms, ensuring comfort and quality service for guests. Additionally, a restaurant and bar offer a variety of delectable Nepali, Indian, and Thakali cuisines, adding to the experience for visitors.

The ‘Airport Budget Hotel’ is not only close to the airport but also just a five-minute drive from the iconic Pashupatinath Temple, making it an ideal choice for tourists. The hotel, built with an investment of NPR 25 million, aims to address the lack of quality budget accommodations in the airport vicinity.

Neupane emphasized the need for well-managed hospitality services around the airport, stating that the lack of quality accommodations has hindered efforts to attract tourists. He expressed hope that the ‘Airport Budget Hotel’ would play a vital role in addressing this gap by providing quality services at reasonable prices.

Highlighting the importance of collaboration between local governments, tourism professionals, and hotel entrepreneurs, Neupane called for the establishment of more advanced facilities near the airport to further enhance Nepal’s tourism potential.

The opening of the ‘Airport Budget Hotel’ is seen as a step forward in bolstering Nepal’s tourism infrastructure, providing convenience for travelers, and promoting Kathmandu as a prime destination.
