Second Edition of ‘Nepal Adventure Expo’ to Be Held in Nagpokhari

The second edition of the “Nepal Adventure Expo,” organized by AR Ventures, is set to take place this Saturday, December 14, at Aranya Boutique Hotel in Nagpokhari. The event will run from 10 AM to 6 PM, as confirmed by organizer Sonam Jangbu Sherpa. Initially scheduled for September 28, the event was postponed due to heavy rainfall and subsequent damages but is now ready to proceed.

The Nepal Tourism Board is supporting and promoting the expo, with Classitech as the internet partner, Aranya Boutique Hotel as the venue partner, and Satyam Media Collaborative as the design partner. According to Sherpa, the first edition of the Nepal Adventure Expo was successfully held at the Annapurna Hotel in Durbarmarg last year.

The event aims to promote Nepal’s physical, cultural, and natural beauty while showcasing trekking, mountaineering, and adventure tourism activities. It also features domestic and international brands offering products for adventure tourism and encourages Nepalese participation in such activities.

“This year, we will have over 50 stalls featuring more than 100 brands,” Sherpa said. He shared that the success of the first edition, which had 50 displays and drew over 2,500 visitors, motivated the organizers to host the second edition with greater enthusiasm.

Some notable participants in this year’s expo include Giant Bikes Nepal, The Last Resort, Epic Mountain Bike, Flying Wonders Paragliding School, Kathmandu Bike Station, The North Face, Lukla Outdoor, Himalayan Medics, Nepal Mountain Academy, Yeti Wears, and many others.

The expo also features workshops on travel experiences, storytelling sessions from tourism professionals, and screenings of documentaries related to adventure tourism. Founding organizer Ajaya Narsingh Rana stated, “The Nepal Adventure Expo is an annual event designed to attract adventure enthusiasts, outdoor lovers, travelers, and business professionals. It serves as a platform to showcase the latest and best products, services, and experiences in adventure sports, travel destinations, camping gear, outdoor equipment, extreme sports, and wellness.”

The organizers expect over 2,500 visitors this year and believe the expo will provide an excellent opportunity for brands to explore and expand their reach. With both national and international participation, the event is poised to become a key platform for promoting Nepal’s adventure tourism sector.
