The Second Gulmi Festival is set to begin on 29th Chaitra. Organized by the Gulmi Chamber of Commerce, the agricultural, tourism, business, and industrial fair will run until 13th Baishakh.
During a press conference held in Tamghas on Monday, the Gulmi Chamber of Commerce announced that the festival will be held under the main slogan “The Foundation of Gulmi District’s Prosperity: Agriculture, Tourism, Industry, and Business.”
According to Chamber of Commerce Secretary Surya Ghimire, the festival will take place at Nuthal in Resunga Municipality-2, Tamghas. Chamber of Commerce President Durga Prasad Pandey mentioned that the event is expected to generate an economic turnover of around 30 crores and attract around 150,000 visitors.
The festival will prioritize Gulmi’s overall agriculture, tourism, local culture, and local products, according to the organizers. The organizers believe that the festival will play a crucial role in promoting and publicizing Gulmi’s agricultural and domestic industries, as well as its tourist destinations.
