The Hikers’ Club Nepal Leads Sanitation Drive Around Fewa Lake

The Hikers’ Club Nepal, a network of hikers dedicated to promoting tourist destinations in and around Pokhara, recently organized a sanitation campaign in the vicinity of Fewa Lake.

Cleanup along the Round Fewa route

According to the Club’s Chairman, Krishna Ranabhat, the event was conducted along the Round Fewa hiking trail in the Raniban area. As part of the cleanup, volunteers collected four sacks of plastic waste, emphasizing the importance of environmental preservation alongside tourism promotion.

“The sanitation campaign is part of the Club’s social responsibility initiatives,” Ranabhat said.

Hiking for tourism promotion

The Hikers’ Club Nepal also regularly organizes hiking events under the theme ‘Round Fewa: View Fewa’, aimed at highlighting Pokhara’s scenic beauty and promoting local tourist destinations.
