Namobuddha Launches Exclusive Tourism Information Center for Travelers

A Tourism Information Center has been established at Namobuddha, a significant religious and tourist destination. The center was set up in Namobuddha Municipality-1 with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to facilitate visitors with information about the area and its cultural significance.

Namobuddha Mayor Kunsang Lama shared that the establishment of the new center has been supported by a contribution of Rs. 2.6 million from KOICA, along with an additional Rs. 1 million allocated by the municipality. This financial support will go toward setting up the center, which aims to serve as an essential resource for both tourists and pilgrims visiting the area.

The center is designed to offer valuable information about the region, focusing on the historical significance of the stupa, its religious importance, and other local attractions. Additionally, it will provide tourists with useful details about municipal services, enhancing the overall visitor experience and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Namobuddha.

Alongside the information center, a sales outlet for locally produced organic vegetables has also been introduced to promote local agricultural products and support the community’s economy. The initiative aims to enhance sustainable tourism, boost local businesses, and improve the overall visitor experience in the municipality.
