The Women’s Of Tourism Entrepreneurs Forum (WOTEF) has launched a three-day adventurous trek today on the occasion of the 115th International Women’s Day. With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism of Gandaki Province, the trek started from Pokhara under the slogan “Conquering Heights, Breaking Boundaries.” The trek will proceed through Ghandruk, Tadapani, and Dobato, and culminate at Mulde Viewpoint, as informed by the forum’s president, Uma Regmi Bhandari.

The trek is organized in connection with the Visit Pokhara Year 2025, and the 28-member promotional team will study and observe the possibilities and challenges of trekking tourism on-site. “This campaign will help support the goal of bringing 2 million tourists to Pokhara, as announced by the Pokhara Metropolitan Office, and will contribute to the success of Visit Pokhara Year 2025,” she said.

The team was bid farewell by Gandaki Province Assembly Member Devaka Pahari, Gandaki Province’s Tourism Secretary Kuman Singh Gurung, Personal Secretary of the Tourism Minister Jeevan Uchchai Thakuri, Coordinator of Visit Pokhara Year 2025 Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai, and representatives from tourism-related organizations in Pokhara.
