According to the Department of Tourism, as of now, 58 individuals have received permits for mountain climbing during the spring season.
The department reported that since the permit issuance started, 58 climbers, consisting of 18 women and 40 men from a total of 8 different teams, have secured their permits.
Among the various mountains, the highest number of permits has been granted for Annapurna I. The department stated that 42 individuals have specifically obtained permits for climbing Annapurna I, making it the most popular mountain among climbers this season.
This surge in permits reflects the growing interest in mountain expeditions during the spring, with Annapurna standing out as a major destination for both domestic and international mountaineers.
