Bandipur Cable Car, located in the Tanahun district beneath Bandipur Hill, recently completed a comprehensive passenger rescue exercise aimed at bolstering its emergency response capabilities.
The exercise, which took place with the participation of 87 individuals including Udyogi Plastic International Private Limited, the Nepali Army, the Armed Police Force, the District Police, and Tanahun’s emergency rescue team, was designed to ensure a swift and effective response to potential emergencies in the future.
Recognizing the paramount importance of passenger safety, Bandipur Cable Car has proactively installed additional motors, engines, and advanced safety devices within its cable car system. The company holds the prestigious TUV international quality and safety certification, underscoring its commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
In line with their commitment to safety, General Manager Roman Man Shrestha announced a temporary halt in commercial operations for the rescue exercise. Regular cable car services are set to resume on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock, ensuring minimal disruption to visitors and tourists.
