Today, the Thamel Park Hotel in Kathmandu echoed with enthusiasm and accomplishment as the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) successfully concluded its 3rd One-Day Refresher Training for Trekking Porters and Guides.
Under the esteemed leadership of TAAN Senior Vice President Mr. Krishna Pd. Dahal, 2nd Vice President Mr. Dhan Bahadur Gurung, Joint Treasurer Chhing D. Sherpa, and other distinguished Executive Committee members, the training session aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of Nepal’s invaluable trekking workforce.
The event culminated with heartfelt congratulations extended to all successful participants. In a gesture of appreciation, TAAN honored the esteemed Resource Persons: Mr. Rajendra Man Karmacharya for his expertise in Wilderness First Aid, Mr. Prem Bahadur Gurung for his proficiency in Trail Navigation and Map Reading, and Inspector (Tourist Police) Ms. Uma KC for her invaluable contributions to the Safety and Security of Trekkers & Workers.
Expressing gratitude for the collaborative efforts that made the training possible, TAAN extended sincere thanks to NTB/UNDP-STLRP, all Resource Persons, participants, Thamel Park Hotel for their hospitality, KEEP for providing essential Training Equipment, and all supporters who contributed to the success of the event.
