Flutura Ibrahimi, also known as Uta, has successfully completed the prestigious 14x8000ers challenge, becoming one of the few mountaineers in the world to summit all 14 of the world’s highest peaks, each towering above 8,000 meters.
Her remarkable mountaineering journey reached its pinnacle on May 10, 2025, when she stood atop Kangchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain at 8,586 meters. With this final ascent, Ibrahimi marked the end of an extraordinary feat of endurance, determination, and courage.

Widely celebrated in the mountaineering community, Ibrahimi’s achievement highlights the spirit of exploration and perseverance. The 14x8000ers challenge is considered one of the most difficult accomplishments in high-altitude climbing, with many mountains posing extreme risks due to harsh weather, technical difficulty, and altitude.

Uta’s ascent of Mount Everest in 2017 marked the start of her ambitious project, “Utalaya – 14 Highest Peaks in the World.” She has since developed into a well-known professional Himalayan climber who uses her position to advocate for resiliency, willpower, and optimism.
