IME Group to Officially Launch ‘Ila Hotel and Resort’ in Gaidakot with State-of-the-Art Tourism Infrastructure

A new milestone in Nepal’s tourism sector is being marked with the formal opening of Ila Hotel and Resort, located at Maulakali, Gaidakot Municipality-1, Nawalpur. Developed with investment from the IME Group, the hotel will be officially inaugurated on Monday, bringing premium hospitality services to the region.

ILA Hotel & Resort

Situated at the upper station of the Maulakali Cable Car, the resort features 65 rooms, including deluxe and suite accommodations, along with a wide array of modern facilities. These include a banquet and conference hall with a seating capacity of up to 1,000 guests, a restaurant, swimming pool, spa, and a gym, offering a comprehensive hospitality experience for both domestic and international tourists.

The hotel is strategically positioned to promote the spiritual and natural tourism assets of the region. With panoramic views of the Narayani River, Devghat, Triveni, and other sacred and cultural heritage sites, the hotel is expected to enhance the visibility and accessibility of this historically rich and naturally blessed area.

According to IME Group officials, the hotel is part of a broader vision to develop integrated tourism infrastructure across all seven provinces of Nepal, including hotels, resorts, and cable cars. So far, cable cars have been completed and are in operation in three provinces, and with the launch of Ila Hotel and Resort, two provinces now have operational hotel-and-cable car projects under the group’s portfolio.

Further expansions are underway, including a hotel project at Basantapur, the top station of Lumbini Cable Car, and a combined hotel, resort, and cable car development in Kailali, Far-West Province. The Kailali project is progressing rapidly, with the cable car expected to be operational within a year, followed by the hotel and resort soon after. Additionally, the construction process for a cable car in Pathibhara, Taplejung, is also currently in progress.

With such strategic developments, IME Group aims to revitalize regional tourism, improve access to religious and eco-tourism destinations, and create sustainable tourism-based economic opportunities across Nepal.
