Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited has introduced an international QR payment service to enhance digital payment capabilities, in collaboration with PhonePe. This new service allows Indian customers to make digital payments by scanning QR codes at merchants associated with Muktinath Bikas Bank using popular Indian payment services like BHIM and PhonePe.
The initiative is designed to simplify cash transactions for Indian tourists, fostering stronger economic and mutual relations between Nepal and India. It is expected to significantly contribute to the development of Nepal’s economic and tourism sectors.
Beyond the international QR payment service, Muktinath Bikas Bank offers a range of digital services to promote cashless transactions. These include prepaid dollar cards, mobile banking, QR code payments, online loan applications, online account opening, internet banking, and remittance deposits.
