LOD Nepal Becomes Official Entertainment Partner for NPL Season 2

LOD Nepal has officially joined the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2 as the tournament’s Entertainment Partner, bringing an added layer of excitement to the ongoing cricket season. The partnership was formalized in a signing ceremony on Sunday, attended by Rabin Shrestha, CEO of LOD Club, and Paras Khadka, Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

Entertainment On and Off the Field

As the official Entertainment Partner, LOD Nepal will provide engaging music and entertainment throughout the tournament. According to CEO Rabin Shrestha, the club’s DJs will perform live music at the cricket stadium, enhancing the atmosphere for both players and spectators. Additionally, special cabin music sessions will be organized inside the stadium, offering an immersive entertainment experience for fans.

“Every player participating in the league will be welcomed with a special program organized by the club,” Shrestha stated. “It is our responsibility to ensure that both the athletes and the audience enjoy top-class entertainment while watching and participating in the matches.”

Opening Match Kicks Off Season 2

The second season of the NPL officially begins on Monday at the Kirtipur Cricket Ground. The opening match will see last season’s champions, Janakpur Bolts, face off against Kathmandu Gorkhas in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

Out of the 32 matches scheduled for the season, 23 games will be played under floodlights, offering exciting night-time cricket for fans. The remaining nine matches will take place during daytime, while 28 league-stage games are planned as day-night fixtures, combining the intensity of cricket with dynamic entertainment experiences.
