The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is set to organize the Konjyosom Bhardeu Photo Exhibition under its flagship #photoNepal initiative, aiming to showcase the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas alongside the vibrant everyday life of Nepal’s local communities.
The three-day exhibition will be held from February 6 to 8 (Magh 23–25) at the Nepal Tourism Board premises in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The exhibition will remain open to the public daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering visitors an opportunity to experience Nepal’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage through powerful visual storytelling.

Showcasing Nepal’s Natural and Cultural Diversity
According to NTB, the exhibition will feature a curated collection of photographs that capture Nepal’s dramatic mountain scenery, remote destinations, and the rich traditions of local communities. Through the lenses of talented photographers, the images aim to reflect the country’s unique blend of nature, culture, and daily life.
The exhibition is expected to highlight lesser-known tourism destinations, encouraging both domestic and international visitors to explore Nepal beyond its popular landmarks. NTB believes that visual narratives play a crucial role in promoting sustainable tourism by inspiring travelers to discover new places responsibly.
Part of the #photoNepal Initiative
The Konjyosom Bhardeu Photo Exhibition is being organized as part of NTB’s ongoing #photoNepal campaign, which uses photography as a powerful tool to promote Nepal’s tourism potential. The initiative supports creative professionals while also strengthening Nepal’s image as a diverse and culturally rich travel destination.
NTB officials stated that the exhibition reflects the board’s commitment to innovative tourism promotion by blending art, culture, and destination marketing. “Photography allows people to emotionally connect with destinations even before they visit,” an NTB official said, adding that such exhibitions help position Nepal as a year-round tourism destination.
Open to the Public
The exhibition is open to photographers, tourism professionals, students, and the general public. NTB has invited art and travel enthusiasts to visit the exhibition and engage with the stories behind the images, which portray Nepal’s landscapes, people, and traditions authentically and compellingly.

Promoting Hidden Tourism Gems
By focusing on hidden and emerging destinations, the exhibition aligns with Nepal’s broader tourism strategy to diversify travel experiences and distribute tourism benefits across different regions. NTB hopes the event will encourage visitors to explore new destinations while supporting local communities and preserving cultural heritage.
The Konjyosom Bhardeu Photo Exhibition promises to offer an immersive visual experience that celebrates Nepal’s natural beauty and cultural vibrancy. Through the #photoNepal initiative, NTB continues to promote Nepal’s tourism assets in creative and impactful ways, inviting audiences to discover the country through the eyes of passionate photographers.
