Beaches Resorts Opens $150 Million Treasure Beach Village in Turks and Caicos

Beaches Resorts has officially unveiled Treasure Beach Village, a US$150 million oceanfront expansion at Beaches Turks & Caicos on the world-renowned Grace Bay Beach. The opening marks a significant milestone for family-focused luxury travel in the Caribbean, adding 101 new multi-bedroom suites designed to accommodate larger and multigenerational groups.

Positioned as an oceanfront “village” within the wider resort complex, Treasure Beach Village aims to redefine the all-inclusive experience for families seeking more space, privacy, and diverse on-site amenities without compromising beach access.

Designed for Larger Family Stays

The headline addition includes 101 newly constructed multi-bedroom suites tailored to modern travel trends, where extended families and small travel groups increasingly vacation together.

Among the standout accommodations are the CrystalSky 4-Bedroom Reserve Villas, spanning over 2,600 square feet across three levels, complete with private pools and rooftop decks equipped with telescopes. The Chairman’s Penthouse Suite, exceeding 2,800 square feet across two stories, offers three bedrooms and space for up to 10 guests.

Additional inventory includes two- and three-bedroom Oceanview Two-Story Suites and Oceanview and Penthouse Concierge Suites for up to six guests. The expansion addresses growing demand during peak travel periods, particularly school holidays, when larger groups often struggle to secure connected rooms in high-demand destinations like Providenciales.

Six New Dining Concepts Introduced

Treasure Beach Village introduces six new dining venues, adding fresh culinary variety to the resort’s already extensive offerings. A key highlight is the debut of Butch’s Island Chop House at a Beaches property, inspired by the Sandals steakhouse concept and named after the late founder Gordon “Butch” Stewart.

The expansion also introduces Pinta Food Hall, the brand’s first food hall-style concept featuring multiple live stations, including a churro bar, offering flexibility for families with varied dining preferences.

BRÜ Coffee Bar, serving Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee by day and transitioning into a cocktail lounge in the evening, provides a relaxed day-to-night gathering space for guests of all ages.

Expanded Leisure and Entertainment Facilities

The centerpiece of the new village is a 15,000-square-foot lagoon-style pool featuring three whirlpools, a waterslide, a splash zone, and a swim-up bar. The design ensures that both children and adults can enjoy shared spaces without compromising comfort.

Treasure Beach Village also introduces Starfish Cinema, a 32-seat theatre offering daytime programming and family movie nights, adding a weather-proof entertainment option to the resort experience.

Guests of the new village retain access to the broader resort complex, including 28 additional dining outlets and the expansive 45,000-square-foot Pirates Island Water Park, enhancing the appeal for longer stays.

Strategic Investment in Grace Bay

Grace Bay remains the centerpiece of tourism activity in Providenciales, widely regarded as the top attraction in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Its pristine shoreline, water sports offerings, and accessibility continue to attract high-end travelers from North America and beyond.

The Turks and Caicos Islands Government, through the Ministry of Tourism and environmental authorities such as the Department of Environment and Coastal Resources, oversees sustainable tourism and coastal management to balance development with conservation efforts.

Part of Broader Caribbean Expansion

The Treasure Beach Village opening forms part of Beaches Resorts’ wider expansion strategy, often referred to as “Beaches 2.0,” representing nearly US$1 billion in planned investment across the Caribbean. Future developments are expected in destinations including Exuma in The Bahamas, Jamaica, Barbados, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals and Beaches Resorts, described the opening as a new chapter for the brand, emphasizing spacious accommodations and upgraded guest experiences shaped by evolving family travel preferences.
