Annapurna Hotel has been suspended for failing to provide services and facilities up to the five-star hotel standards.
During an inspection, the Tourism Department found that the hotel was not operating with the services and facilities required for a five-star classification, leading to the suspension.
According to Kali Bahadur Bhujel, Director of Internal Administration and Hotel Branch of the Tourism Department, the hotel was classified as a five-star establishment but failed to deliver the expected level of service and amenities. Consequently, Annapurna Hotel has been suspended from Shrawan 1.
Bhujel stated that the suspension was due to the lack of proper services and facilities observed during the inspection. The suspension period is one year. If the hotel meets the required standards and resumes proper operations within this period, the suspension will be lifted; otherwise, the hotel’s registration will be canceled. Annapurna Hotel’s renewal is valid until Jestha 2082.
