Hotel Pauwa, one of Nepal’s fast-growing hospitality brands, is marking its 10th anniversary with a nationwide “Flavour Festival” (Swad Utsav), celebrating a decade of growth, service, and cultural promotion. The three-day celebration is being held across all branches from April 9 to 11 (26–28 Chaitra 2082). The festival is designed to highlight Nepali cuisine, hospitality values, and cultural identity while engaging customers and communities across the country.
Grand Inauguration with Cultural Significance
The anniversary celebration will be inaugurated with a special ceremony featuring veteran Nepali artist Madan Krishna Shrestha as the chief guest. Organizers say his presence adds cultural and symbolic significance to the milestone event.

Hotel Pauwa’s branding head, Bishnu Prasad Bhandari, said the festival reflects the company’s long-standing mission of promoting Nepali taste and hospitality both nationally and internationally. He added that more than 40,000 invitations have been distributed nationwide to ensure wide participation from customers, stakeholders, and well-wishers.

From Seven Rooms to Nationwide Expansion
What began as a small establishment with just seven rooms in Saljhandi, Rupandehi, has now evolved into a major hospitality network. Over the past decade, Hotel Pauwa has expanded significantly across Nepal. According to the General Manager of the Bhairahawa branch, Nishant Kharel, the brand now operates 20 branches nationwide and employs more than 1,000 staff members, supported by over 250 investors. He noted that the company has successfully built a distinct identity in Nepal’s competitive hospitality sector within a short span of time.

Promotion of Nepali Culture and Culinary Heritage
Hotel Pauwa continues to position itself as a brand rooted in Nepali culture and tradition. Kharel stated that under its guiding slogan, “Where Nepali hospitality begins,” the hotel remains committed to preserving Nepali language, food, and cultural values.
During the festival period, all branches will operate food stalls from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering guests a variety of traditional Nepali dishes. As part of the celebration, two types of traditional meals will be served free of charge daily to all visitors during the event hours.

Community Engagement and Pre-Festival Activities
Ahead of the main celebration, the Bhairahawa branch organized a promotional rally along with a blood donation program on Wednesday. The activities aimed to engage the local community while promoting social responsibility alongside business growth. Organizers said such initiatives reflect the company’s broader commitment to community service beyond hospitality operations.

Future Expansion and Investment Vision
As part of its long-term growth strategy, Hotel Pauwa has announced plans to host an investment conference on April 11 at its Bhairahawa branch. The event, titled “Let’s Spend Our Childhood,” will bring together leadership, investors, and stakeholders to discuss future expansion and strategic direction. The conference is expected to focus on strengthening business sustainability, exploring new investment opportunities, and expanding the brand’s national and international presence.
Entering a New Decade of Growth
With its 10th anniversary celebration, Hotel Pauwa is entering a new phase of expansion and innovation. The management says the brand will continue to blend Nepali traditions with modern hospitality standards while strengthening its role in Nepal’s growing tourism and service industry.
