The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has officially announced the winners of the Wellness Reel Contest 2026, recognizing outstanding content creators who showcased Nepal’s rich wellness heritage through engaging short videos.
The nationwide contest attracted 111 creators from across Nepal, who produced inspiring reels highlighting the country’s diverse wellness experiences. Participants captured the serenity of the Himalayas, yoga and meditation practices, Ayurveda, spiritual retreats, and nature-based healing, presenting Nepal as an ideal destination for wellness and mindful living.

Seven regional winners were selected, each receiving a cash prize of NPR 75,000. The winners are:
- Koshi Province: Mina Kumari Raut
- Madhesh Province: Sumitra Acharya
- Bagmati Province: Eric Nakarmi
- Gandaki Province: Roshan Dhakal
- Lumbini Province: Vaskar Maharjan
- Karnali Province: Santosh Buddha
- Sudurpashchim Province: Himalaya Bhatta

Jury Award and Special Mentions Recognized
In addition to the regional winners, Asha Poudel received the Jury Award along with a cash prize of NPR 25,000 for her exceptional contribution.
The Nepal Tourism Board also presented Special Mention recognitions to Ranjeet Shrestha, Kailash Karki, Ghumante Budabudi, Kiran Adhikari, and Aashrit for their creative efforts in promoting wellness tourism.

Experts Appreciated for Fair Evaluation
NTB expressed its gratitude to the contest’s distinguished jury members, renowned filmmaker Min Bahadur Bham and wellbeing expert Shobita Simkhada, for their dedicated evaluation of the entries.
The board stated that the contest marks another important milestone in promoting Nepal’s timeless wellbeing traditions and positioning the country as a premier destination for holistic health, spirituality, and mindful travel under the campaign message, “Wellness in Every Frame. Nepal in Every Story.”
