In the month of Jestha, Pathibhara (Mukumlung) in Taplejung experienced a notable increase in tourism, generating NPR 16 lakhs 50 thousand in offerings. Prajin Hangbang, the Executive Director of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, stated that NPR 1,665,956 was collected from worshippers visiting the temple. The collected offerings have been safely deposited in a bank.
The Pathibhara Area Development Committee routinely releases the temple’s monthly earnings, indicating the rising number of pilgrims and tourists. By Jestha of the present fiscal year, an impressive 228,896 devotees have visited the Pathibhara temple, underscoring its significance as a major religious and tourism spot in the area.
