The Cliff Pvt. Ltd. has stepped up its support for communities affected by the recent floods and landslides across Nepal, providing rescue equipment, temporary shelter, and financial assistance as relief and recovery efforts continue. The disasters have caused significant loss of life and property, leaving numerous families displaced and without essential belongings. In response, The Cliff coordinated with concerned authorities and began supporting rescue operations from the day following the disaster.

Rescue Equipment and Emergency Shelter
As part of its immediate response, The Cliff provided essential rescue and safety equipment, including ropes, carabiners and other available gear, to assist personnel involved in ongoing rescue operations. Recognising the urgent need for shelter among displaced families, the company has also begun providing tents to affected households that have lost their homes or been forced to leave them because of the disasters.

Financial Contribution to Recovery
Beyond direct emergency assistance, The Cliff has also contributed financially to broader disaster relief and recovery efforts through the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund. The contribution was handed over through the Finance Minister. The company said its support is intended to stand alongside affected families as well as the rescue personnel, security forces, volunteers and local communities working on the ground.

The initiative highlights the role that tourism and adventure-sector businesses can play in supporting communities during emergencies, particularly when their experience and equipment can contribute directly to rescue, safety and relief operations. The Cliff expressed solidarity with those affected by the disasters and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting recovery and rebuilding efforts across the affected communities.
