Adverse weather conditions have disrupted several domestic flights in Nepal, with poor visibility affecting operations at multiple airports across the country.
Bharatpur and Tumlingtar Airports Remain Closed
Bharatpur Airport in Chitwan and Tumlingtar Airport in Sankhuwasabha have remained out of operation due to insufficient visibility and unfavorable weather conditions. According to airport offices, flight operations at both airports could not resume as weather conditions remained unsuitable for safe aircraft movement.
Visibility Improves at Pokhara Airport
Meanwhile, visibility at Pokhara Airport has been gradually improving. Airport authorities said preparations were underway to resume flight operations once visibility reaches the required level.
Flight will be operated after the weather conditions and visibility become favorable for safe operations, officials said.
Mountain Flights Also Affected
The adverse weather has also affected mountain flight operations scheduled for Sunday. Mountain flights could not be conducted due to poor weather and inadequate visibility. Airports and airlines have indicated that operations could resume once weather conditions improve and visibility becomes sufficient for safe flights.

The disruption has affected air connectivity to several destinations, particularly airports operating in areas experiencing poor visibility.
