The monsoon has led to generally cloudy conditions nationwide, with light to moderate rainfall occurring in various locations. The Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are seeing substantial rainfall, including thunderstorms, while other provinces are experiencing lighter showers.
The department forecasts that Sunday afternoon will continue to see mostly cloudy weather across the country, with light to moderate rainfall expected in many areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as isolated spots in other provinces.
Additionally, heavy rainfall is anticipated in some locations of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, with the possibility of very heavy rainfall in one or two areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
Throughout Sunday night, the weather is expected to remain unsettled, with thunderstorms and light to moderate rain likely in some areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as isolated areas in other provinces. Heavy to very heavy rainfall remains a possibility in a few locations of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
