With just three days remaining, excitement is building for this year’s prestigious South Asian Travel Awards (SATA), which will take place in Kathmandu. The event, scheduled from September 19 to 20, will be hosted at The Malla Hotel and Aloft Kathmandu Thamel. Recognizing excellence in the travel and tourism industry across South Asia, SATA promises to celebrate outstanding achievements and highlight the hard work of professionals within the sector.
This year marks the 8th edition of the awards, with over 400 nominations received. The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) are supporting the event as key tourism partners. The main sponsor for this year’s event is UAE’s Gulfcraft, while The Hawks, Hotels & Resorts Investments Maldives (HARIM), and Velana International Airport are gold partners. Resort Life Travel and Bizspoke are recognized as silver partners, and Allied Insurance is the official insurance partner for this edition.
