The Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board and the UNDP-led STLRP project, is in the process of formulating the National Trekking Trail Strategy.
To ensure the development of an effective strategy, TAAN held a consultation meeting today with stakeholders from various sectors in Gandaki Province.
The consultation meeting, held on Ashwin 4, 2081, at TAAN Gandaki’s office in Pokhara, brought together representatives from government bodies, tourism-related organizations, and private sector stakeholders involved in trekking and mountain tourism.
The purpose of the meeting was to gather valuable input and suggestions for the development of trekking routes and areas.
The National Trekking Trail Strategy aims to strengthen and promote trekking trails across the country while enhancing the sustainability and management of trekking tourism in Nepal.
