The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), in partnership with USAID, has launched a two-day Search Engine Optimization (SEO) training session in Kathmandu, which will begin on September 26, 2024. The goal of the event is to provide tourist industry professionals with up-to-date knowledge on digital marketing techniques so they can stay ahead of the ever-evolving SEO scene.
More than 35 people have registered for the training event, including representatives from a range of travel and tourism-related industries. The program’s main goal is to improve participants’ abilities to optimize digital material, increase their online presence, and maintain their competitiveness in the global digital market.

Through this training, NATTA and USAID hope to empower tourism professionals to effectively promote Nepal as a travel destination, leveraging SEO techniques to attract a wider international audience. This initiative highlights the importance of digital proficiency in the tourism sector, especially in an era where online platforms significantly influence travelers’ decisions.
The two-day session will cover topics such as keyword research, content optimization, and the latest SEO trends, providing participants with practical tools to apply in their businesses.
