Langtang Region Welcomes Back Tourists as Activities Resume

The Langtang and Gosaikunda regions are officially open for tourism, with safety confirmed for trekkers and travelers. As of yesterday, bus and jeep services to Dhunche and Syabrubesi have resumed, making it easier for visitors to access this stunning area in Nepal.

Today marks another positive development, as the Syabrubesi-Rasuwagadi road has reopened, enhancing connectivity. Additionally, the Syabrubesi-Thambuchet road is operational via the Bahundanda route, although the Ronga route is currently closed.

Travelers should be mindful of a small landslide near Ghattekulo, located about 5 kilometers from Dhunche, along the route to Gosaikunda. Trekkers are advised to exercise caution while passing through this area.

For those looking for alternative routes, it is possible to drive or trek to Thulosyabru via Bharkhu before commencing the trek to Gosaikunda. With these developments, the Langtang region is poised to offer a memorable experience for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers.
