Nepal Promotes Tourism at IDA21 Replenishment Meeting in Kathmandu

The International Development Association’s 21st Replenishment Meeting (IDA21) concluded today, drawing over 200 delegates from more than 90 nations worldwide. This significant event provided the Nepal Tourism Board with a unique platform to promote the country’s tourism offerings and inform delegates about various tourism products and destinations.

The Nepal Information Counter at the IDA21 venue was graced by the presence of the Management Co-chair and Senior Managing Director Mr. Axel Van Trotsenburg and Independent Co-chair Mr. Sheku Sambadeen Sesay. Their involvement underscored the importance of Nepal’s tourism sector and its growth potential.

Congratulations are due to the Nepalese government, the Ministry of Finance, and the World Bank Group for successfully organizing this landmark event, the first of its kind in Nepal. The successful hosting of IDA21 reinforces Nepal’s status as an established MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination.
