Shree Airlines has expanded its fleet by adding a new 80-seater aircraft, identified by the call sign ‘NineN AOM.’ This aircraft, a Q400-8 model, was originally manufactured by Bombardier, now under De Havilland Canada.
Anil Manandhar, Managing Director (Corporate) of Shree Airlines, announced that the new Q400-8 aircraft is designed for comfort and safety, boasting a low noise level which enhances the passenger experience.
Following the completion of necessary procedures with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Shree Airlines plans to increase its domestic flight services using this new addition. The expansion aims to provide more frequent flights to various destinations across Nepal.
Shree Airlines, which began operations in 2017, currently operates a fleet of 10 aircraft, including CRJ 200, CRJ 700, and Q400 models. The airline services several major domestic routes, including flights from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Bhairawa, Nepalganj, Dhangadhi, Pokhara, and Surkhet, as well as mountain flight tours.
With this new addition, Shree Airlines continues to strengthen its commitment to providing efficient and reliable air travel within Nepal.
