The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted partly to generally cloudy weather today in Koshi, Madesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, as well as in the hilly regions of other provinces. Meanwhile, the rest of the country is expected to experience partly cloudy to mainly fair weather.
According to the latest weather bulletin, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in several areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and the hilly regions across the country. This weather pattern is attributed to the impact of westerly winds and local wind systems.
For tonight, the weather conditions are expected to remain similar, with partly to generally cloudy skies in the same provinces and the hilly regions. The chance of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms persists in parts of Koshi, Madesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, as stated in the 6:00 am bulletin issued by the Division.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay updated on local weather conditions and take necessary precautions.
