The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has indicated that Nepal is currently experiencing the influence of both western and local winds. According to the latest update, hilly regions will see partly cloudy skies, while other areas across the country are expected to remain predominantly clear.
For today, the weather will largely stay clear across the nation, with some partial cloudiness in the hilly areas, particularly in Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpashchim Provinces. There is a slight chance of light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two locations within these hilly regions.
Tonight, conditions are forecast to stay similar, with partly cloudy skies over the hills and clear weather elsewhere.
The department has issued a caution for the next 24 hours, highlighting the potential for light rain in isolated areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpashchim Provinces. This could temporarily impact sectors like agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, and both road and air transportation. As a result, the public, especially those in affected areas, are advised to exercise caution.
