Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited has submitted an IPO proposal to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). The company plans to issue 3,060,000 shares to the public, aiming to raise Rs. 22.50 crores. The application was submitted on Jestha 22, 2081. Similarly, Akama Hotel Limited has also submitted its IPO proposal to SEBON. The company plans to issue 4,500,000 shares with a face value of Rs. 50, expecting to raise Rs. 22.50 crores. This application was submitted on Ashadh 26, 2081, with Sanima Capital Limited appointed as the issue manager.
In addition, Thamel Plaza Hotel and Suites Limited has proposed issuing 1,000,000 shares to raise Rs. 10 crores. The application was submitted on Kartik 21, 2081, with Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited acting as the issue manager.
Infomerics Credit Rating Nepal Limited has assigned an issuer rating of IRN BB (Is) [Double B (Issuer)] to Thamel Plaza Hotel and Suites Limited (TPHS). This rating indicates a moderate risk of default in meeting financial obligations.
Founded on January 5, 2012, and converted to a public limited company on July 13, 2023, TPHS operates the ‘Ramada Encore Kathmandu Thamel’ in Thamel, Kathmandu. The hotel, covering 1,170 sq. m. with 90 rooms, began full operations on January 8, 2021. Mr. Jagannath Gyawali, holding approximately 56% of the shares, is the major shareholder as of September 13, 2024.
