The Annapurna region is welcoming travelers once again, with tourism activities having officially resumed. Recent assessments indicate that the area is safe for trekkers and tourists alike, providing a perfect opportunity to explore its stunning landscapes and cultural richness.
However, travelers should be aware that air traffic to Pokhara from Kathmandu is currently experiencing high demand. This increased pressure has led to a surge in flight bookings, making it advisable for visitors to plan their journeys.
For those opting for road travel, the Sunauli/Bhairahawa-Pokhara road is in good condition, allowing for a smooth journey. Similarly, the Chitwan-Pokhara road is also reported to be fine, facilitating easy access to the region.
It is worth noting that there are some obstacles along the Kathmandu-Pokhara road, where only a single lane is operational. This has resulted in heavier traffic in this section, and travelers should anticipate potential delays. Despite these minor challenges, the overall situation in the Annapurna region remains positive, making it an ideal destination for adventure seekers and tourists.
