The next session of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly has been scheduled for Ashwin 6. Speaker Bhuwan Kumar Pathak announced that the meeting will be held at 1 PM to pass three bills registered with the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.
On August 29 (Bhadra 13), the Provincial Assembly’s Education, Health, and Agriculture Committee approved the “Provincial Health Act Amendment Bill, 2080” and the “Provincial Agriculture Development Bill.” The committee decided to present both bills for approval in the upcoming assembly session.
Similarly, the Industry, Tourism, and Environment Committee had passed the “Provincial Handicraft Village Establishment and Operation Bill, 2080” and forwarded it to the assembly for further discussion and approval. The Provincial Assembly Secretariat is preparing to pass all three bills during the upcoming session.
To finalize the agenda for the Ashwin 6 assembly meeting, a session of the Provincial Assembly’s Business Advisory Committee has been called for Ashwin 5 at 3 PM. The last meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly was held on Shrawan 15, during which two bills were passed before the assembly was adjourned indefinitely.
