Scheduled to inaugurate commercial operations on Jestha 31st, this development marks a significant milestone for the region’s tourism sector.

President Ramchandra Sharma proudly announced the acquisition of a prestigious TUV certificate, attesting to the cable car’s adherence to rigorous international safety standards. With this certification in hand, visitors can embark on a journey of exploration and adventure with peace of mind.

The cable car promises seamless access to the renowned Khadgadevi temple, offering daily departures from the town square and a swift 7-minute journey to the temple grounds. This convenience heralds a new era of accessibility for pilgrims and tourists alike, enhancing the spiritual and cultural experience of visiting the revered site.

Beyond transportation, the Bandipur Cable Car project encompasses a host of amenities designed to enrich visitors’ experiences. At the bottom station, travelers can indulge in culinary delights at the ‘Drive In’ restaurant or delve into the region’s rich natural history at the jungle museum, catering to diverse interests and preferences.

Chairman Sharma provided insights into the broader vision for Bandipur’s development, highlighting progress on ambitious projects such as the 17-story Queen Tower and plans for adrenaline-pumping attractions like the Sky Walk and bungee jump. With 21 passenger gondolas operating at full capacity, the cable car system boasts the capability to transport 500 passengers per hour, ensuring efficient and comfortable journeys throughout the day. Additionally, plans are underway to introduce six restro cabin restaurants and restroom facilities, further enhancing the visitor experience.
