Barahi Group Hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara Launch Special Dashain Feast

Barahi Group, a prominent brand in Nepal’s chain hospitality sector, has launched a special Dashain feast at two of its hotels—Hotel Barahi in Pokhara and Hotel Barahi in Kathmandu. The feast is being held from Ashwin 24 to 26 (October 10 to 12) to offer traditional Dashain delicacies, according to the group’s corporate director, Yogendra Thapa.

The Dashain menu includes popular dishes such as bhutuwa, sekuwa, sel roti, various pickles, and bara, along with other festive specialties. At Hotel Barahi Kathmandu, the feast will be available as a dinner set menu starting from 5:30 PM. In Pokhara, a buffet lunch will be served from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

The price for the buffet lunch at Hotel Barahi Pokhara is set at NPR 2,000 per person. At Hotel Barahi Kathmandu, the dinner price is NPR 1,800 for the vegetarian set and NPR 2,000 for the non-vegetarian set.

Targeted at both residents and tourists looking to celebrate Dashain outside their homes, the Dashain feast offers a festive culinary experience. “This year, we are catering to those who want to enjoy the holiday festivities outside and for tourists who wish to experience Dashain,” said Thapa.

Barahi Group operates several luxury and eco-friendly properties, including a luxury eco-resort in Meghauli, Chitwan, the four-star Hotel Barahi Kathmandu, and the four-star Hotel Barahi Pokhara. Additionally, the group runs Sarangkot Mountain Lodge, Aawas Pokhara, The Beach and Bar, and Byanjan Restaurant in Pokhara. A five-star Barahi hotel is also under construction in Sedi, Pokhara.
