Blue Hill, located in Baglung Municipality-9, is being developed as a major tourism and religious destination. With stunning views of two dozen Himalayan peaks and Baglung Bazaar, the project aims to boost tourism through infrastructure development.

With a total budget of NPR 340 million, infrastructure construction began last year with NPR 70 million in the first phase and NPR 250 million in the second phase. The municipality has also announced a contract for a Shiva statue.

Baglung-9 Ward Chair Raju Thapa stated that Blue Hill will feature picnic spots, a meditation center, an observation deck, a gym, a temple, and parking facilities. The municipality has prioritized road upgrades and other necessary infrastructure to attract domestic and international tourists.

At an altitude of 2,200 meters, the project is expected to take eight years to complete. Once finished, visitors will enjoy panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, Annapurna, and other Himalayan peaks.
