A Buddha Air flight en route from Biratnagar to Kathmandu had to return to Biratnagar on Wednesday due to a medical emergency. The aircraft, registered as 9N-ANI, was flying at an altitude of 18,000 feet when a young passenger (a sick child) became unconscious.
Tribhuvan International Airport reported that the decision to turn back was made after the child lost consciousness. Following the medical emergency announcement, the flight safely returned to Biratnagar.
Buddha Air’s office at Tribhuvan International Airport confirmed the incident and stated that the crew acted promptly to ensure the child’s safety by returning the aircraft to Biratnagar.
