Buddha Air Flight from Janakpur Lands Safely in Kathmandu Without One Wheel

A Buddha Air flight from Janakpur to Kathmandu safely landed at Tribhuvan International Airport this afternoon despite losing one of its front wheels. The aircraft, flying as flight number 506, had a technical issue with one of its front wheels, yet managed to touch down safely, according to Jagannath Niraula, the airport’s general manager.

“Although one of the front wheels was missing, the aircraft landed without any major issues. It’s not a critical problem, but an investigation is underway to determine why the wheel was lost,” Niraula explained.

Buddha Air‘s spokesperson, Deependra Karn, confirmed that flight 506, with the aircraft registration 9N-ANH, landed safely in Kathmandu. He added that the aircraft had shown a technical fault and was immediately handed over to the technical team for inspection.

The incident raised concerns among passengers but was quickly resolved without further complications, ensuring the safety of all aboard. The investigation into the cause of the malfunction is ongoing.
