Buddha Air Reduces Fares for Night Flights, Expands Services

Nepal’s private airline, Buddha Air, has announced a reduction in fares for night flights, making travel more affordable and convenient compared to morning and afternoon flights on select routes.

The airline has lowered fares by NPR 500 for flights to Pokhara, NPR 1,000 for flights to Bhadrapur and Nepalgunj, and NPR 800 for flights to Janakpur. The move comes as Buddha Air aims to encourage night-time travel across key destinations.

With the recent upgrades at Kathmandu Airport and limited flight slots, Buddha Air has also introduced additional flights from Bhairahawa and Pokhara. Previously, there were only three flights per week from Pokhara to Nepalgunj, but now Buddha Air has increased this to daily flights. Additionally, a daily flight from Bhairahawa to Pokhara has been added.

Buddha Air also highlighted the economic and tourism benefits of increased flight activity at Bhairahawa Airport, driven by international airline operations in the region. To further enhance customer convenience, Buddha Air is offering passengers traveling between Kathmandu or Pokhara and Bhairahawa an additional 25 kg baggage allowance on every fare class.
