During his visit to the world-renowned Gadhimai Fair at Bariyarpur in Mahagadhimai Municipality-1, Bara, on Thursday, Chief Minister Singh emphasized the government’s commitment to making the fair a success. The fair, which began on the 1st of Mangsir, draws devotees and visitors from across the globe.

Chief Minister Singh assured that the provincial government is fully prepared to provide the necessary support to the fair. Despite ongoing discussions and speculation about the tenure of his administration, he expressed confidence in the continuity of his government.

The Gadhimai Fair, celebrated every five years, is one of the most prominent religious events in Nepal, attracting thousands of pilgrims and tourists. Efforts to gain UNESCO recognition aim to highlight the temple’s cultural significance on a global platform and promote tourism in the region.
