A 111-member committee has been formed to oversee the management of the Gadhimai fair, a significant cultural festival held every five years in the district. The committee, chaired by Upendra Yadav, Mayor of Gadhimai Municipality, aims to conduct the event in a grand and organized manner.
The vice-chairs of the committee include Manoj Kumar Gupta, Ramchandra Prasad Sah, Rambabu Prasad Yadav, and Kalaish Mahato. The general secretaries of the committee are Birendra Prasad Jaiswal and Upendra Prasad Gupta, with Umarawati Devi Laherin and Nitu Kumari Gupta serving as secretaries. Birendra Prasad Chaurasiya has been appointed as treasurer.
The committee is a diverse group with representatives from all political parties, as well as chiefs and deputy chiefs of 16 municipalities, ensuring broad-based collaboration for the successful management of the event.
