Dhruba Adhikari has announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Thamel Tourism Council, expressing a strong commitment to making Thamel prosperous. Adhikari has declared his candidacy along with a panel of candidates for various positions. In a program held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, several key positions were announced from Adhikari’s panel.
Tenzing Lama is running for First Vice President, Rajiv Pandey for Second Vice President, Shree Krishna Thapaliya for Vice President, Sojesh Malakar for General Secretary, Punyaram Lageju for Secretary, and Prakash Thapaliya for Treasurer. The candidacy announcement was addressed by Chandra Rijal, Dr. Ramsharan Thapaliya, and Madan Bhandari.
Alongside the candidacy declaration, a committee led by Prashrya Rajbhandari has been formed to oversee the election campaign. Rajan Shrestha, Sabu Tamang, and Ram Khadka will serve as co-coordinators, with Deepak Dahal, Dhruba Dharel, Jeevan Thapaliya, Gopal Shrestha, Bishnu Lamsal, Harisharan Jamarkattel, and Ishwor Sharma as members.
To ensure the success of the campaign, another advisory committee has been established under the leadership of Dr. Ramsharan Thapaliya. The advisory committee includes Sanjibman Pradhan, Manoj Ranjit, Samir Gurung, Mahesh Maharjan, Shreeshahi, and Pradeep Shrestha.
