The Annapurna Conservation Area Project, in collaboration with the Conservation Area Management Committee of Jomsom, successfully organized a distribution program for apple drying equipment today, on the 22nd of Ashwin, 2081 BS.
The event was held under the coordination and facilitation of the local conservation committee, which selected 30 households, including underprivileged families and small business owners, to receive this essential equipment.
The distribution took place in the presence of the Vice Chairperson of the Gharpajhong Rural Municipality, highlighting the community’s commitment to enhancing local livelihoods through sustainable practices.
This initiative aims to support local apple growers by providing them with the necessary tools to process and dry their produce, ultimately helping to improve their economic situation and promote sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
