Emirates has expanded its flight operations between Accra, Ghana, and Dubai with four additional weekly services, providing passengers with greater choice and improved connections to destinations across the airline’s global network.
Launched on July 12, the additional flights operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, complementing Emirates’ existing daily service between Accra and Dubai.
The new schedule introduces an early morning arrival in Dubai, allowing passengers travelling from Ghana to benefit from improved connections to a wide range of international destinations.

Improved Connections to Asia, Australia, US and Saudi Arabia
The additional service is designed to provide convenient onward travel through Dubai to major business and tourism destinations across Asia, Australia, the United States, and Saudi Arabia.
The expanded schedule is expected to benefit business travellers, tourists, and passengers visiting friends and relatives by offering greater flexibility in planning international journeys.
Boeing 777-300ER Operates Additional Services
The additional flights are operated using Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The aircraft features:
- 8 private suites in First Class
- 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class
- 304 seats in Economy Class
Passengers travelling from Ghana will continue to enjoy Emirates’ onboard products and services, including regionally inspired cuisine and the airline’s ice inflight entertainment system.
The system offers more than 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment in over 40 languages, including content from Ghana.

Emirates Now Operates 11 Weekly Flights Between Accra and Dubai
The expansion comes amid growing demand for international travel and improved global connectivity from Ghana.
With the addition of the four weekly flights, Emirates now operates 11 weekly services between Dubai and Accra.
The increased frequency provides passengers with greater flexibility and convenience while strengthening connectivity between Ghana and Dubai, as well as onward access to Emirates’ extensive global network.
