Adanchuli Rural Municipality, located in the southern region of Humla district, is set to host the inaugural Adanchuli Cultural and Tourism Festival on Poush 5. The festival aims to preserve and promote the area’s cultural heritage and attract attention to its tourism potential.
Acting Chief Administrative Officer Hansh Mahatara shared that the event will feature performances by renowned national-level Deuda artists, adding to the festival’s appeal. Additionally, local men and women will also present traditional Deuda performances, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
The festival will include demonstrations of traditional dances such as Magal, Balo Champa, Dhal Tarwar, Chachi, Phak, Hudke Furko, Bakte, and various musical performances. These vibrant cultural showcases aim to highlight the unique traditions and artistry of the local community.
By organizing this festival, Adanchuli Rural Municipality seeks to promote its cultural identity and establish itself as a significant cultural and tourism destination in the region.
