Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for Friday, adjusting the values of various currencies. According to the updated rates, the value of currencies such as the US Dollar, Saudi Arabian Riyal, Qatari Riyal, UAE Dirham, Hong Kong Dollar, and Kuwaiti Dinar has increased. In contrast, the value of the Euro, UK Pound Sterling, Canadian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Japanese Yen, Thai Baht, Malaysian Ringgit, South Korean Won, and Swedish Krona has declined.
The exchange rate for one US Dollar has been set at NPR 135.82 for buying and NPR 136.42 for selling. Similarly, the Euro is valued at NPR 141.39 for buying and NPR 142.01 for selling, while the UK Pound Sterling is set at NPR 171.65 for buying and NPR 172.41 for selling. The Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 151.59 for buying and NPR 152.26 for selling.
The exchange rate for the Australian Dollar is NPR 84.88 for buying and NPR 85.26 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 94.40 for buying and NPR 94.82 for selling. The Singapore Dollar is priced at NPR 100.01 for buying and NPR 100.45 for selling.
For the Japanese Yen (per 10 units), the buying rate is NPR 8.65 and the selling rate is NPR 8.69. The Chinese Yuan is priced at NPR 18.61 for buying and NPR 18.70 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal and Qatari Riyal are valued at NPR 36.15 and NPR 37.26 for buying, and NPR 36.31 and NPR 37.43 for selling, respectively.
The Thai Baht is priced at NPR 3.94 for buying and NPR 3.95 for selling, while the UAE Dirham stands at NPR 36.98 for buying and NPR 37.14 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit is priced at NPR 30.15 for buying and NPR 30.28 for selling, and 100 South Korean Won is valued at NPR 9.38 for buying and NPR 9.42 for selling. The Swedish Krona stands at NPR 12.33 for buying and NPR 12.38 for selling, while the Danish Krona is priced at NPR 18.95 for buying and NPR 19.03 for selling.
NRB has set the rate for the Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.48 for buying and NPR 17.56 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is valued at NPR 440.97 for buying and NPR 442.92 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 360.07 for buying and NPR 361.66 for selling. The Omani Rial is priced at NPR 353.78 for buying and NPR 354.34 for selling.
The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees remains constant at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank noted that these rates are subject to change as needed. Additionally, commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
