This spring, ten climbers have successfully ascended Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world. The team, representing Seven Summit Treks, fixed ropes along the way to reach the summit at 2:15 AM on Saturday. This is the start of this climbing season’s Kanchenjunga ascent.

The last push toward the summit started on May 9 at 6:15 PM from Camp 4, according to Seven Summit Treks. The team secured the last portion of the route by fixing more than 350 meters of rope in spite of difficult weather and terrain. Previously, ropes had been fixed up to about 8,400 meters in altitude.

Flutura Ibrahimi, Adrian Michael Hayes, Alireza Behpour, Saeed Almemari, Seyedhamidreza Hashemi, Lhakpa Temba Sherpa, Ngima Dorchi Sherpa, Phur Sonam Sherpa, Gyaluk Sherpa, and Changba Sherpa are all members of the successful summit team.
