Taksar Airport have resumed at in Bhojpur Municipality-12 after a three-month suspension. According to Bhojpur Station Chief of Nepal Airlines, Prakash Khadka, Nepal Airlines has restarted its services from today, with new flight schedules in place.

Taksar Airport has been operational since 1978, with Nepal Airlines being the only carrier providing services. The airport features a 545-meter-long and 20-meter-wide runway, restricting operations to specific aircraft.

The flight suspension had severely impacted patients referred from the district hospital to Kathmandu and other travelers.

Nepal Airlines stated that one of its two small aircraft is currently under maintenance, and flight operations will become more convenient once repairs are completed.
