Fly Dubai Airlines Resumes Daily Flights to Gautam Buddha International Airport

Fly Dubai Airlines is set to resume its daily flights to Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa from January 13, following a month-long suspension.

The airline had temporarily halted operations due to operational adjustments and scheduling challenges. However, with renewed efforts, Fly Dubai is once again prepared to serve travelers, marking its commitment to strengthening Nepal’s international connectivity.

Gautam Buddha International Airport, Nepal’s second international airport, has been gaining prominence as a gateway for travelers, particularly for those visiting the Lumbini region, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The resumption of Fly Dubai’s flights is expected to bolster tourism and economic activities in the region.

Fly Dubai’s return is anticipated to bring more options for passengers traveling between Nepal and the Middle East, with seamless connections to other international destinations through Dubai.

Local tourism stakeholders and businesses in Bhairahawa have welcomed the decision, expressing optimism about the positive impact on tourism and trade. The daily flights will not only facilitate international travel but also enhance the region’s accessibility for pilgrims and tourists visiting the Lumbini area.

With Fly Dubai back on schedule, travelers can look forward to reliable, daily services connecting Bhairahawa to the world, further solidifying GBIA’s role as a crucial hub in Nepal’s aviation network.
